Trum Tinh and Lam Ti Phong are the two Khanh Hoa's players who asserted themselves in Vietnam's U19 national football team. Among 21 players of U19 national football team traveling to Europe for a two-month training course, 15 ones come from the football academy Hoang Anh Gia Lai Arsenal JMG. That means only six players were selected from 30 football training centers for young players across the country. Khanh Hoa Province is proud to have two players Trum Tinh and Lam Ti Phong among those six ones.
After the two-month training course in Europe, the U19 national football team made some changes in the players list in order to prepare for another training course in Japan. Six players were dismissed. Trum Tinh and Lam Ti Phong retained their position in the team. In addition, other two players of Khanh Hoa Province, midfield Tran Dinh Khuong and left half back Nguyen Doan Duy Anh, were offered chance to become member of the national team. Finally, Nguyen Doan Duy Anh, Trum Tinh and Lam Ti Phong are in the list of 26 players who will take part in the training course in Japan in June.

Reportedly, among the football training centers which have players joining the U19 national football team, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Arsenal JMG is the center which has the largest number of players with 13 athletes. Khanh Hoa Province has the second largest number of players with 3 ones.
It is noteworthy that beside Hoang Anh Gia Lai Arsenal JMG, there are many strong and professional training centers throughout the country (PVF, Viettel, Song Lam Nghe An, etc.) together with many enrollment programs for young talented football players held in Vietnam by world’s famous football clubs (Aspire-Barcelona, Liverpool, etc.). Therefore, it is proud for Khanh Hoa Province to have three young players selected as members of the U19 national football team.
According to Le Van Tu, coach of U19 Sanna Tech Khanh Hoa, about 80 football players of Khanh Hoa Province (from 17 to 21 years old) have good professional quality. This will become the “golden generation” of football in Khanh Hoa Province in the next 3-5 years.
The training for young players in Khanh Hoa Province are now not competitive with other strong training centers like PVF, Viettel, Hanoi T&T, etc. in both scale and finance. However, Khanh Hoa possesses a stable background of training, helping to provide qualified players for football in the province in particular and Vietnam in general.
