The Southern volleyball tournament – Sanatech Ben Tre was considered as an opportunity for the volleyball teams like Sanest Khanh Hoa to test the athlete force in order to prepare for the national tournament which is expectedly held in July in Binh Duong Province.
This year’s tournament attracted ten teams, including six male teams (Duc Long Gia Lai, Maseco Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long Lottery, the fourth Corps, Sanest Khanh Hoa and the host Ben Tre) and four female teams (Lilama Hai Duong, Phu Rieng Rubber, VTV Binh Dien Long An and Tan Binh Ho Chi Minh City).

For the participating teams, this tournament was considered as an opportunity to test and apply new tactics to prepare for the main tournament of this year. The reason was because of the big change in the competition rule. Specifically, this year’s tournament had only one round to determine the position of the participations on the chart as well as the relegation of those teams in the next year’s season.
In 2013 season, Sanest Khanh Hoa had some changes in the coaching board and also the athlete force which led to many difficulties to secure their position. However, the team overcame that difficult period and ended the season at the sixth rank thanks to their efforts, determination as well as the good luck.
According to Trieu Tu Thien, head coach Of Sanest Khanh Hoa, the team’s athlete force is now stable. Taking part in the Southern volleyball tournament – Sanatech Ben Tre will help Sanest Khanh Hoa to choose the appropriate tactics and formation in the coming national championship. Reportedly, in 2013 season, beside the key players such as Van Kieu, Truong Giang, Trung Truc and some young talented players like Xuan Tan, Van Phong, Thanh Phong and Ngoc Khan, Sanest Khanh Hoa also recruited two more good quality players, including Van Giap and Cong Quynh. At the Southern volleyball tournament – Sanatech Ben Tre, most of the players showed a consistent level of performance, meeting the requirements of the coaching board.
It can be said that, with the good performances at the the Southern volleyball tournament – Sanatech Ben Tre 2014, Sanest Khanh Hoa promises to play well at the coming national tournament.
