The U17 national basketball tournament – Cool Air Cup 2014 (Southern region) kicked off on June 7 at Khanh Hoa Provincial Sports Competition House with the participation of eleven male teams and five female ones.
The U17 national basketball tournament – Cool Air Cup 2014 (Southern region) kicked off on June 7 at Khanh Hoa Provincial Sports Competition House with the participation of eleven male teams and five female ones.

The tournament is held for the students of high schools and U17 players of skilled sports throughout the country.
The male teams compete in groups while the female ones play in a round robin format. The two winning teams will enter the final round held in July in Hanoi.
The tournament will end on June 10.
