Taking full advantage of the resources, Nha Trang City Culture and Sports Center organized numerous movement sports activities, creating useful playground for the students in the city.
The summer is an occasion for the students to have fun, recreation time and physical training before a new school year. Therefore, beside opening sports classes, Nha Trang City Culture and Sports Center also often organizes many movement sports tournaments for the students. Reportedly, this summer, the center planed to hold six sports tournaments, including cross-country, football, basketball, vovinam, taekwondo, swimming.
From early June until now, the center has held four movement sports tournaments, attracting over 800 athletes from the localities and schools in the city, such as Sacombank’s cross-country tournament for the community health (600 athletes from 30 units), taekwondo tournament for age groups (over 60 athletes from six units), city vovinam championships (164 players from 15 units), and football tournament for teenagers and students (over 300 players from 28 units).
In addition, there are many movement sports classes often held for the teenagers, drawing the attendance of over 500 followers.

“This year, beside investing in the academic study, the parents paid more interest in their children’s recreation and physical training activities. Therefore, the students’ demand for those activities has increased much compared to previous years,” said Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Director of Nha Trang City Culture and Sports Center.
However, in recent years, the budget fund for the cultural and sports activities has been not much, partly affecting the organization and quality of the city’s movement sports activities. Therefore, in order to maintain the sports playgrounds, Nha Trang City Culture and Sports Center has strengthened the socialization. The supports from the sponsors helped the organization board to increase prize value and support the traveling and accommodation costs for the participants, creating the driving force for the units to join the movement sports.
Besides, Nha Trang City Culture and Sports Center has also taken full advantage of the resources such as material facilities, training facilities as well as opened training classes to improve the professional skills of the officers and teachers. Thanks to those efforts, the center has been trusted by students and their parents.
