The trans-Vietnam bicycle race 2014 – National defense Cup started on December 2 in Ca Mau Province.

The race is within the activities to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 25th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22).
Over 300 racers of 15 domestic strongest bicycle teams and two overseas teams take part in the tourney covering 1,300km from Ca Mau to Cao Bang.
The grand prize is up to VND500 million.
