Having sustainably maintained the movement of clubs and dojos, Nha Trang Traditional Martial Arts Branch has been evaluated as one of the units which have actively contributed to the development of provincial Traditional Martial Arts Association.

The whole province now has around 15 sects of traditional martial arts with over 1,500 practitioners, practicing in 41 places, clubs, and dojos. Among the traditional martial arts branches in Khanh Hoa, Nha Trang branch is considered as the one which has had the strongest movement, which is thanks to the training facilities, famous dojos and traditional martial arts instructors, such as Bich Quang Mon, Hac Long, Minh Long and Son Long. These favorable conditions have created attraction to the lovers of this martial art. Many athletes of the provincial traditional martial arts team also come from Nha Trang branch.

Nowadays, Nha Trang Traditional Martial Arts Branch with more than 71 members manages 18 clubs and dojos followed by over 700 regular practicers. The branch associated with the City Sports Center to organize the traditional martial arts tournament for ages in order to evaluate the quality of the clubs. The tournament was joined by 97 athletes of 11 clubs and dojos. Through the tournament, Nha Trang Traditional Martial Arts Branch selected 16 athletes to compete at the provincial tournament which ended with the first place for the whole team came to Nha Trang team.

Besides, Nha Trang branch also held belt grading examinations from level 5 to level 8; introduced 228 candidates to join belt grading examinations from level 9 to level 14; introduced 42 candidates to take part in belt grading examinations at national level from level 15 and above; introduced 36 coaches and referees to join professional training courses held in Khanh Hoa by Vietnam Traditional Marital Arts Federation.

In addition, the branch sent many athletes and coaches to join the provincial traditional arts team, competing at the national and international tournaments, gaining many quite good achievements.

With all of those achievements, in 2014, Nha Trang Traditional Martial Arts Branch had one athlete bestowed veteran level, four athletes gaining level-one title at national level, three martial arts instructors bestowed national coaches, three martial arts instructors promoted to the rank of national referees and 27 martial arts instructors promoted to provincial referees.

According to martial arts instructor Pham Hoan, head of Nha Trang Traditional Martial Arts Branch, apart from those advantages, there are still some difficulties which have negatively affected the development of traditional martial arts movement. Specifically, almost all the clubs and dojos have had to practice outside without a lean-to roof; therefore, the practicing activities have depended on the weather. Besides, most of the practicers who are pupils, students have to spend time in studying, so they have had not much time to practice traditional martial arts.

In order to promote the development of Nha Trang Traditional Martial Arts Branch, the executive board of the branch will keep maintaining checking and regulating the operation of the clubs and dojos, holding training courses and mobilizing the clubs and dojos to join tournaments and sports festivals held in the city and province.
