The preliminary round of the 2015 national futsal tournament is taking place at Phu Tho and Lanh Binh Thang Competition House, Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament is joined by 10 teams, including An Phuoc Hospital (Binh Thuan), Casanco, FishSan Ninh Thuan, Hoang Thu (Da Nang), HPN - Phu Nhuan, Sanna Khanh Hoa, Sanatech Khanh Hoa, Tan Hiep Hung, Thai Son Bac and present champion Thai Son Nam.
According to Hoang Khanh Hung, deputy head of Futsal Khanh Hoa, this is the first time the two rounds of the tournament are organized in a round-robin format. Futsal Khanh Hoa aims to retain the achievement of being the three strongest teams and compete for the champion. Attending this year’s tournament, Futsal Khanh Hoa has more representative teams than the previous tournaments (Sanna Khanh Hoa, Sanatech Khanh Hoa, Casanco, FishSan Ninh Thuan).
Beside the two familiar teams, the coastal province’s futsal delegation sees the attendance of Casanco and FishSan Ninh Thuan. According to Hung, there some outstanding players in FishSan Ninh Thuan, such as Nguyen Thanh Dat (former player of Sanna Khanh Hoa), Hoang Minh Hieu and Nguyen Dinh Y Hoa (used to be trained in the provincial U19 team).Taking part in a large tournament for the first time, the young athletes of FishSan Ninh Thuan sets the target to learn and exchange experience. However, with the performances they are showing, FishSan Ninh Thuan is expected to be a surprise at the 2015 national futsal tournament.
It is difficult to rank in top of two most excellent teams and win the trophy against the present champion Thai Son Nam; however, with a good preparation and high determination, Futsal Khanh Hoa hopes to make a feat at this year’s tournament.
