In 2015, Khanh Hoa’s young football has been experienced difficulties when U15 and U19 team failed to pass the first round while U17 is competing in the first round and will have to overcome many difficulties to enter the final. Therefore, the achievements of U11 Sanna Khanh Hoa and U13 Sanest Khanh Hoa have pleased football fans in Khanh Hoa Province.

The qualifying round of the national football tournament for teenagers and children 2015 – Southern region was held in Dak Lak Province. Khanh Hoa’s U11 football team finished the round with the second places and gained the ticket to join the final round of the national U11 football tournament held in Thai Binh Province from July 27 to August 6. In the same time, U13 team ranked third at the preliminary round, earning them a place at the final round of the national teenagers’ football tournament taking place in Hue in July 7-16.
According to Huynh Huu Duc, head coach of U11 Sanna Khanh Hoa and U13 Sanest Khanh Hoa, beside the efforts and professional skills, which have been highly evaluated at the preliminary round of the southern region, the luck plays quite a part in the success of young players. This year, both U11 and U13 have received investment from Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company. This helped both teams to play with a highest determination in each match. The final round joining by many strong teams in the country promises to be a good opportunity for Khanh Hoa’s young football teams to exchange and learn experience.
High quality football athletes are normally developed from an outstanding generation of young players. For example, Khanh Hoa’s senior players like Huu Dang, Hoang Anh Tuan, Vo Dinh Tan, Le Van Tu, Ha Quoc Phong, Tran Quoc Bao and Tran Thai Hoa, and so on, who were key players of Khanh Hoa’s football, used to be the champion at the National Phu Dong Sports Festival 1987. Other athletes such as Quy Duc, Dang Dao, Thien Hao, Tan Tai, Duy Nam, Trong Binh, Quang Hai, Van Phong and Tan Dien, etc. used to show a lot of good performances at the young tournaments before becoming the golden generation of Khanh Hoa’s football. Nowadays, most of players of Sanna Khanh Hoa who have been playing well at V-League 2015 used to win three consecutive championships at the national children’s football tournament in 2004, 2005, 2006.
Therefore, the achievements of U11 Sanna Khanh Hoa and U13 Sanest Khanh Hoa at the national football tournament for teenagers and children 2015 showed that these players promise to be quality ones who are competent to compete with young players from other localities.
