The first indoor volleyball tournament – Sannatech Cup within the cultural, sports and tourism activities of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2015, joined by many strong volleyball teams in Vietnam, promises to be an interesting activity for the locals and tourist during the festival.
The tournament, held by Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company in association with the provincial Center of Services and Sports Competition, is expected to run from July 10 to 15. Reportedly, there have been five teams registering to attend the tournament, including the fourth Corps – Becamex, Ben Tre, Maseco Ho Chi Minh City, Duc Long Gia Lai and the host Sanest Khanh Hoa. These are teams which are in the top list of strong volleyball teams in Viet Nam. Specifically, Maseco Ho Chi Minh City and the fourth Corps – Becamex has been the present champion and the third runner-up respectively at the national volleyball championship – Hung Vuong Cup.

For the locals and tourists in Nha Trang City, the Sea Festival has been always attractively awaited event. In Sea Festival 2013, the sports activities such as yacht racing, international women’s beach volleyball tournament and bamboo basket boat race showed their attractiveness and contributed to promote the images of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa to locals and tourists every where.
This year, the international women’s beach volleyball tournament is not organized for some reasons. The indoor volleyball tournament – Sannatech Cup is held instead in order to bring locals and tourists an opportunity to watch the performances of strong teams as well as to help Sanest Khanh Hoa to prepare for the second round of the national volleyball tournament.
According to Trieu Tu Thien, head coach of Sanest Khanh Hoa, the attendance of strong volleyball teams promises to make the tournament to be attractive.
Reportedly, Sanest Khanh Hoa will remain some key players as in the first round of the national volleyball tournament. Besides, the team will have some changes like opposite hitter and outside hitter. Phan Van Nghiep, assistant coach of Sanest Khanh Hoa, who used to play for Sanest Khanh Hoa since 2003 and won championship in 2008, will join the team as an opposite hitter.
