The Sacombank cross-country tournament 2015 was held thanks to the cooperation of Nha Trang City Center of Culture and Sports and Sacombank. This year’s tournament was joined by over 600 players of 30 units in the city, including SOS Village, localities and schools. The players competed in three events: children’s running (1-km distance), female teenagers’ running (2-km distance) and male teenagers’ running (4-km distance). The race took place along Tran Phu Street and Le Thanh Ton Street.
In order to make the tournament to be more exciting, some other activities were added to the tournament, such as unicorn – lion – dragon dance, hip-hop dance and lucky draw with many interesting presents.
The event of children’s running saw a strong competition among teams of Phuoc Thinh Primary School, SOS Village and Phuoc Dong Commune. Finally, getting the best results of male and female individual, Phuoc Thinh Primary School won whole-group first prize; SOS Village placed second while Phuoc Dong Commune ranked third.
SOS Village also showed their strong competitiveness in the event of female teenagers and male teenagers. At this event, their players showed an equal competition with Vo Thi Sau Junior High School and finally ended the tournament with the second place as whole group at this event.
Although it was just a movement sports activity, the Sacombank cross-country tournament has always been attractive to a lot of teenagers and children in the summer.
