The basketball championship is joined by 16 male teams and 4 female ones which comprise players who are over 15 years old. The basketball tournament for children (from 11 years old and under) includes 11 male teams coming from 16 communes, wards and schools in the city and 1 one team from Ninh Hoa Town.
The tournament ends on August 9.
