The congress aimed to unify the management of boxing activities and promote the development of boxing in Vietnam; create formal relationship with the international sports federations and associations; attract social resources to develop boxing in Vietnam.
Tran Minh Tien, General Director of the Lasta Multimedia Joint-Stock Company, was voted to be the chairman of Vietnam Boxing Federation, 2015-2019 tenure.
Until now, in Vietnam, the boxing movement has been developed in 30 localities and industries with more than 1,000 athletes.
