It can be said that, at the present, Sanest Khanh Hoa has the strongest attack line compared to other teams in Vietnam. Some present outstanding players of Sanest Khanh Hoa are Ngo Van Kieu, Van Phong, Trung Truc, Thanh Phong, Truong Giang and Tuan Anh, etc. While outside hitter Ngo Van Kieu has been showing his best with devilish strikes, his young fellows having ideal fitness and talent, have been contributed to build up a strong volleyball team.
Recently, Sanest Khanh Hoa has made an agreement with the ninth Corps to buy middle hitter Tran Trien Chieu, aged 19 years old, 1.93m tall. Apart from senior athletes, Sanest Khanh Hoa has many young and talented players, such as Tuan Anh (born in 1994), Trien Chieu (born in 1996), Van Phong (born in 1989), Trung Truc (born in 1990), Thanh Phong (born in 1993), and Ngoc Khanh (born in 1991).
However, Sanest Khanh Hoa performed not well at the first leg of the national volleyball championship 2015. The team finished the leg with two wins and two losses, making them to have to strive hard for the two top places in group B in the second leg in order to enter the semi-final round.
While setter Van Viet has got injured and needs to rest until the end of next year’s season, the other two, Xuan Tan and Thanh Dat, have shown their instability in many games.
According to Trieu Tu Thien, head coach of Sanest Khanh Hoa, in order to build up a team that can play well with a stable manner in the next three or five years, Sanest Khanh Hoa has recruited many young athletes. The two upcoming tournaments are a good opportunity for the team to exchange and improve the way of playing.
Reportedly, in Sanatech Cup 2015, taking place in October 1-10, sees the participation of many strong teams in the country, such as Duc Long Gia Lai, runner-up of the national volleyball championship 2014, Maseco Ho Chi Minh City, present champion of Sanatech Cup, Ben Tre and the fourth Corps. The most important thing of Sanest Khanh Hoa at this tournament is enhancing the cooperation between the defense line and attack line as well as improving the stability of the setters. After Sanatech Cup 2015, Sanest Khanh Hoa will join Ho Chi Minh City four-heroes Cup slated to last from October 17 to 20, and then the second leg of the national volleyball championship 2015.
