Among the movement sports held by the businesses in Khanh Hoa Province, futsal has always been considered as an interesting sports playground which has attracted many participating teams as well as enormous number of audience.

Through over ten years of organization, the men’s and women’s mini football tournament of Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) has not only evaluated as a high quality tournament but also created positive social effects which has partly contributed to promote the futsal movement among the laborers.

The 2015 tournament, taking place from August 22 to 29, drew the attendance of 23 teams (15 male teams and 8 female ones) from the company’s affiliates. Reportedly, among the futsal tournaments organized in Khanh Hoa Province, the one held by Khatoco has been done well in the term of organization, competing spirit and conscious discipline. The tournament also showed a good maintenance of female futsal teams in the factories and enterprises under Khatoco. It is a noticeable effort because in Khanh Hoa, there are not many playgrounds for women to play futsal and football.

Thanks to the teams’ careful preparation, during the tournament, especially the decisive matches, the audience could always feel an ebullient competing atmosphere at the provincial Sports Competition House.

According to Ngo Van Binh, Deputy Chairman of Khatoco’s labor union, the participating teams at this year’s tournament have had a better preparation in both quantity and quality of the players. The tournament continued to assert the strong development of football in general and futsal in particular in Khanh Viet Corporation. This was not only a useful playground for the laborers but also an opportunity for them to exchange and connect more closely in order to enhance the company’s development.
