Vietnam boxing team left the International Boxing Tournament BALKAN 2015, held in Bulgaria from November 9 to 15, with one gold medal and one silver medal.

Joining the tournament were 130 athletes from 21 countries. Vietnam team took part in the tournament with four athletes in order to prepare for the preliminary round of Olympic Games Rio 2016.
At the end of the tournament, Nguyen Thi Huyen Phuong of Vietnam won gold in the 48kg weight class. Another Vietnamese athlete, Ha Thi Linh, got silver in the 57kg weight class.
