According to the November rankings of FIDE, Le Quang Liem, Vietnamese chess Grandmaster improved his ranking 17 spots to 33.

This improvement was thanks to Liem’s achievements at the earlier tournaments, including Spice Cup (champion), Millionaire Chess Tournament (runner-up), FIDE World Chess Cup (third round). The results of these three tournaments earned Liem 21.2 Elo, raising his Elo from 2697 to 2818.
Another chess Grandmaster of Vietnam, Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son, ranked 123 in the FIDE November rankings.
