The fifth Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championships is slated to take place at Nguyen Du Competition House, Ho Chi Minh City in December 11-13.

The 2015 championships, jointly held by Vietnam Sports Federation and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, will be joined by 242 athletes of ten countries, including Vietnam, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, Thailand, Iran, China, Mongolia, Cambodia and Hong Kong (China). Vietnam has 60 athletes taking part in this championships.
The athletes are divided into three age groups: 12-14, 15-17 and above 18 (championship group) and compete in the events: men’s singles, women’s singles, mixed doubles, group of three players and group of five players. Apart from these events, the athletes of the championship group will compete in aerobic dance and aerobic step.
