Beside the remaining difficulties, Khanh Hoa's sports has had some good signs shown through the bold hallmarks in 2015.

Beside the remaining difficulties, Khanh Hoa’s sports has  shown  some good signs through the bold hallmarks in 2015.

The most outstanding hallmark is the fifth place of Sanna Khanh Hoa – Bien Viet Nam (Sanna KH - BVN) at V-League 2015. If V-League 2015 is considered as a multi-colored painting, Sanna KH – BVN will be the brightest color thanks to their sense of dedication and solidarity to overcome difficulties, satisfying the football fans.

In the section of indoor sports, Sanna Khanh Hoa futsal team also has a triumphant year with the victory in the national futsal championship. The trophy at this tournament is a meritorious award for the good investments of Khanh Hoa’s futsal in many years, helping Khanh Hoa’s futsal to become one of the strong futsal centers in Vietnam.

In 2015, Khanh Hoa’s volleyball also showed its remarkable return after many ups and downs. Finishing second at the national volleyball championship, Sanest Khanh Hoa, comprising many talents and promising young athletes, marked their return and has been expected to keep playing well at the future tournaments. It is also a positive sign for Khanh Hoa’s volleyball. Khanh Hoa’s young volleyball also asserted their position as one of the strongest volleyball centers in Vietnam with the success of Sanna Khanh Hoa in defending their champion title at the national young volleyball championship 2015.

The 2015 year is also a successful year of other sports of Khanh Hoa like athletics, table-tennis and martial arts. Khanh Hoa sports teams gained nearly 300 medals at the domestic and international tournaments. Each medal marked the improvement and fruits of the athletes’ efforts. In 2015, the martial arts athletes had extraordinary achievements. Specifically, the provincial traditional martial arts team took part in eight domestic tournaments, achieving nearly 60 medals of all kinds; taekwondo team brought 45 medals to Khanh Hoa’s sport delegation. Khanh Hoa’s young athlete Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy won one gold at SEA Games and one bronze at the Asian playground when playing for the national team.

Beside the medals gained in the domestic and international playgrounds, Khanh Hoa is also a destination of the national-scale sports tournaments in 2015. There were 14 tournaments at national level held in Khanh Hoa, such as the second round of the national volleyball championship, national bodybuilding clubs tournament, teams’ shuttlecock kicking championship, tennis tournament for excellent children and teenagers, national judo championship, national senior exercise tournament, national table-tennis tournament for strong teams and the preliminary round of U21 football tournament – Thanh Nien Newspaper. Ten of thousands of athletes, coaches and members of sports delegations across the country came to Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa to join these tournaments. This has also helped to promote the tourism and cultural exchange in the province.

Hopefully, these good hallmarks will be a boost for Khanh Hoa’s sports to develop further in the future.
