Gaining semifinals at the ongoing national futsal tournament 2015, Sanna Khanh Hoa futsal team is in the hunt for their second championship in this year’s season.
The national futsal tournament 2015 taking place at Rach Mieu Competition House (Ho Chi Minh City) in December 21-24, held by Vietnam Football Federation, is an attractive playground for the strong futsal teams across the country. Through the tournament, the most excellent athletes will be selected for the national futsal team to prepare for the final round of AFC Futsal Championship being expected to kick off in February, 2016.

The 2015 national tournament is joined by eight strong teams in the country, including present champion Sanna Khanh Hoa, Sanatech Khanh Hoa, Thai Son Nam, Thai Son Bac, Tan Hiep Hung, Hai Phuong Nam, Hoang Thu Da Nang and An Phuoc Binh Thuan Hospital. Among these teams, Sanna Khanh Hoa and Thai Son Nam (gaining four national championships) have been evaluated as the strongest candidates for the champion title.
These two teams not only have been well invested with the target to play in large-scale playgrounds but also comprise many outstanding athletes who have played for the national futsal team. In the qualification round, both teams had convincing victories against their rival to gain the semi-finals. Specifically, Sanna Khanh Hoa won over Tan Hiep Hung 4-1 while Thai Son Nam defeated Hoang Thu Da Nang with the score of 7-3.
At this year’s tournament, beside the familiar athletes who won the national championship (Mai Thanh Dat, Nguyen Dinh Thanh, Nguyen Thanh Hung), Sanna Khanh Hoa includes some young players of the lower-level team. The tournament is not only a playground for Sanna Khanh Hoa’s players to exchange and improve their skills but also an opportunity for the team to assert their position with the year’s second champion title which they are hunting for.
Reportedly, the total prize of the national futsal tournament 2015 is up to VND120 million. The winner will receive the trophy, gold medal, certificate and an award worth VND50 million.
