Having gone through many difficulties, Khanh Hoa’s football has still showed its vitality. For example, every year, the young football teams of Khanh Hoa manage to be qualified for the final rounds of national tournaments. This year, U19 Sannatech Khanh Hoa overcame many teams to enter the semi final of the National U19 Championship where they lost to a formidable opponent (Viettel). The U15 players of Khanh Hoa will also take part in the final round of National U15 Championship, held in An Giang in late August.
In the National U17 Championship, U17 Sannatech Khanh Hoa is evaluated not to be as strong as other young teams (VPF, Viettel, T&T Hanoi, Song Lam Nghe An, etc.). However, the team of the coastal province proved that they are not an easy opponent. In the preliminary round, U17 Sannatech Khanh Hoa got three wins, five draws and no loss. With that result, the team placed second in group and qualified to enter the final round.

The U17 National Championship – Thai Son Nam Cup 2016 will take place from August 2 to 18, joined by 12 teams. U17 Sannatech Khanh Hoa is in group B with VPF, T&T Hanoi, Dak Lak, Quang Nam and Long An. VPF and T&T Hanoi are considered as the most outstanding teams while Sannatech Khanh Hoa has the same level with the remaining teams.
According to Nguyen Ty, coach of U17 Sannatech Khanh Hoa, the team’s players are having good spiritual condition. The team aims to become one of the four strongest teams of this tournament.
