Sanna Khanh Hoa will take part in the second tour of the National Beach Volleyball Tournament 2016, held in Da Nang in September 7-9. At this tournament, the team of the coastal province aims to defend the championship in both men’s and women’s event which they secured in the first tour in Hai Phong.
In most of domestic beach volleyball tournaments, Sanna Khanh Hoa has always been considered as one of the brightest candidates for the championship beside Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Binh Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong and Da Nang. Apart from the large number of athletes, Sanna Khanh Hoa has outstanding players who have been evaluated to be superior to the ones of other teams in term of skill. The team’s athletes like Nguyen Trong Quoc, Nguyen Thanh Vinh, Ngo Vo Thanh Loan and Tran Thi Trong have been said to be the most and second strongest hitters at the domestic tournaments.
The training for young athletes has also been invested quite well thanks to the consideration and supports from the authorities and sponsors, especially Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company. After two or three seasons, Sanna Khanh Hoa often joins the national tournaments with new young potential athletes. These young ones have also ranked in top ten at the national level tournaments.
According to Nguyen Cao Dong, Coach of Sanna Khanh Hoa, beside preparing for the second tour of the National Beach Volleyball Tournament 2016, the athletes of Sanna Khanh Hoa have also been striving to have the best preparation for the fifth Asian Beach Games (ABG5) held in Da Nang from September 22 to 25. In ABG5, three young athletes of Sanna Khanh Hoa were selected to join the national beach volleyball team, including Thanh Vinh, Vinh Phuc and Thanh Tram. These athletes have been the outstanding ones at the national tournaments and gained some good results.
Additionally, Coach Duy Thanh of Khanh Hoa was also appointed as coach of the national female volleyball team at ABG5. This is considered as the fruits of Sanna Khanh Hoa after six years playing at the professional playgrounds.
