December 18 saw the men's final match between Sanest Khanh Hoa and The Cong 15th Corps as well as closing ceremony of the men's final round and women's ranking round of the 2016 National Volleyball Championship, taking place at Khanh Hoa Provincial Sports Competition House. Finally, The Cong 15th Corps won 3-1 over the host Sanest Khanh Hoa to scoop the championship. The organization gave cup and an award worth VND100 million to the champion. Border team got third prize; Maseco Ho Chi Minh City received consolation prize. Prizes of comprehensively excellent athlete and excellent setter were offered to Tu Thanh Thuan (Sanest Khanh Hoa) and Nguyen Xuan Thanh (The Cong 15th Corps) respectively.
