Sanest Khanh Hoa to meet equal opponent in semi of National Volleyball Championship

Sanest Khanh Hoa, first-place team of group A, will play Border team, runner-up of group B in the first semi-final of the PV GAS National Volleyball Championship at 8pm on December 15. The clash between the two teams which have the present most excellent attackers in Vietnam promises to take place intensely.

 

 

Although having been highly evaluated by the professionals and been considered as a bright candidate for the championship, Sanest Khanh Hoa went through many difficulties on their travel in reaching the finals. Specifically, through four matches in the second round, the host showed that they had some weaknesses in the defense line, which have often been exploited by the opponents. After three matches, with two wins and one loss, Sanest Khanh Hoa had to win over The Cong 15th Corps in the final match of the second round in order to secure the ticket to the final round. Otherwise, they had to wait for the result of the match between The Cong 15th Corps and the Fourth Corps – Becamex to see if they could qualify for the final round or not. Finally, the players of Sanest Khanh Hoa managed to have a nail-biting victory over the opponent. Thus, it can be said that Sanest Khanh Hoa need to make more efforts to achieve the goal of winning the championship at home.

 

Meanwhile, Border team, opponent of the host in the semi-final, displayed their competence and skills in the second round. They topped group B before losing the first place to the reigning champion Maseco Ho Chi Minh City. With Nguyen Huu Ha, one of the present best outside hitters of Vietnam’s volleyball, Border team is expected to play equally with Sanest Khanh Hoa in the semi-final. 

 

The remaining semi is the clash between Maseco Ho Chi Minh City and The Cong 15th Corps, which takes place at 8pm on December 16.
