Vietnam fields more athletes to SEA Games 29 than SEA Games 28 (365 athletes) partly because the host Malaysia incorporates more team sports into the competition program.

At SEA Games 29, Vietnam’s sports delegation aims to achieve more than 60 gold medals and finish in top three positions.
As planned, Vietnam’s sports delegation will join SEA Games 29 in Malaysia from August 11 to September 1.
