The 2017 chess tournament of Khanh Hoa Province opened at the provincial Sports Competition House on August 22. Taking part in this tournament are 60 players from Hai Long Ltd., Co., the center of culture and sports of Nha Trang City, Cam Ranh City and Ninh Hoa Town.

The players compete in team event (standard chess) and individual event (fast chess). After the tournament, the excellent players may be selected for the provincial chess team.
