Nha Trang City People’s Committee launched the Olympic Running Day named “For Public Health” on March 25. This was a typical movement activity to mark the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day and the day when Uncle Ho issued a call to the whole country to do exercise (March 27, 1946).
Taking part in the running event in Nha Trang were nearly 7,000 people who were the leaders and staffs of the organizations, armed forces, pupils and students, Youth Union members, and the locals in the city. The participants ran 1 kilometer along Tran Phu Street starting from 2-4 Square.

On the same day, many other localities in Khanh Hoa also organized the Olympic Running Day.
