Nha Trang has had the most developed football movement among the localities in Khanh Hoa with the most number of football and futsal clubs and grounds. The city has also held regular tournaments at the city-level, through which the most outstanding players are selected for the city’s football and futsal teams. Therefore, the teams of Nha Trang have always been the promising candidates for the championship at the province-level movement tournaments.
The public sports movement in Ninh Hoa Town and Van Ninh District has also developed quite strongly in Khanh Hoa. The representatives of Ninh Hoa and Van Ninh at this year’s futsal tournament are C-CASA Ninh Hoa (reigning champion) and Hung Tin Van Ninh respectively.
All the large futsal clubs in Khanh Hoa take part in the provincial 2018 futsal tournament, including Thanh Thanh, TCT Khanh Viet, Olympic Gym, DBS Khanh Hoa, and Sanna U-19. Besides, this year’s tournament also sees the attendance of some rookies like Nam Phuong Khanh Hoa, Hoa Mai Auto, and Bien Duong Restaurant, etc.

“Most of the participants at the 2018 tournament are strong teams which used to gain good achievements at many movement tournaments in the province. Many teams had also invested time to prepare for the tournament. Therefore, the tournament is expected to be attractive with exciting matches,” said Vo Ngoc Hung, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, Head of the Organization Committee.
Reportedly, the teams played competitively in eight matches of the table group. Many matches ended with many goals scored. For example, Hoa Mai Auto won GNM Khanh Son 7-3; Nha Trang whipped Thanh Thanh 5-2.
The Khanh Hoa’s futsal tournament has offered opportunities for many players from the localities across the province to learn experience and perform their skills. Many young players proved their competence at the tournament and were selected for the professional teams. Therefore, this tournament can be said to be one of the desirable tournaments for football fans in Khanh Hoa.
