Vietnam takes first place at Southeast Asia Karate Championship 2018

The 2018 Southeast Asia Karate Championship held in Vietnam ended recently with the first place coming to the host Vietnam.
 

The 2018 Southeast Asia Karate Championship held in Vietnam ended recently with the first place coming to the host Vietnam.
 
The tournament was joined by nearly 400 officials of the international sports organizations, coaches, and athletes of seven countries in the region, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. 
 
The participants divided into groups of ages competed in men’s team, women’s team, men’s individual, and women’s individual in kata and kumite.

After three days of competition, Vietnam team finished first with 29 golds, 24 silvers, and 36 bronzes. Indonesia with 9 golds, 11 silvers, and 24 bronzes came second. Thailand getting 7 golds, 5 silvers, and 9 bronzes took third.
