The 2018 chess and Chinese chess tournament of Khanh Hoa kicked off at Nha Trang Sports Training and Competing Center on June 28. The tournament is organized by Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports.
At the tournament, 78 male and 29 female players of six cultural and sports clubs in the province are divided into three age groups (from 11 and under, 12 to 15, from 15 and over) and compete in chess and Chinese chess in individual and team events.

Through the tournament, the most outstanding players will be selected to join the provincial teams.
The tournament ends on June 30.
