The taekwondo open tournament 2018 of Nha Trang takes place at Nha Trang Sports Training and Competing Center on July 22 and 23.
Taking part in the tournament are more than 230 players of 11 teams in Nha Trang and seven teams from other provinces which are Gia Lai, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Dinh.

The players are classified into age groups (born in 2002 and earlier, born in 2003 and later) and compete in combat and demonstration events with ten weight categories (from under 41kg to over 68kg).
