Vietnam Football Federation will organize an international friendly football tournament namely International U-23 Tournament – Vinaphone Cup 2018 at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi) from August 3 to 8.
The tournament will be joined by four U-23 teams of Uzbekistan, Oman, Australia, and Vietnam.
Vietnam U-23 played Uzbekistan U-23 in the final of the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship in China in January. Vietnam U-23 lost to Uzbekistan U-23 at the last minute of the extra time.

The International U-23 Tournament – Vinaphone Cup 2018 will be played in a round-robin format. The team with the most points will be the winner and be awarded USD20,000. The second-place and third-place teams will receive USD10,000 and USD5,000, respectively.
