Sanna Khanh Hoa futsal team is prepared to play the elimination round of the National Futsal Championship – HDBank 2019 which is slated to take place in Nha Trang from April 2 to 14. Their target is sealing a spot in the second round.
The National Futsal Championship – HDBank 2019 is played in two rounds. The first round (elimination round) is joined by seven teams. The best four teams of this round will enter the second round to compete with other six teams which placed first to sixth at the National Futsal Championship 2018.
Sanna Khanh Hoa started to play at the national tournaments around ten years ago. At that time, the team faced a lot of difficulties in order to find a position in this sport because around them were Thai Son Nam and many other quality teams which were supported by patron Tu. Sanna Khanh Hoa had its first achievement when finishing second in the 2012 season. Since then, the team together with Sanatech Khanh Hoa (another futsal team of Khanh Hoa) gradually became the only competitive opponents of Thai Son Nam and other teams of patron Tu on the ranking table.

The highest achievement of Sanna Khanh Hoa was the championship at the 2015 season. They defeated Thai Son Nam to claim that year’s title. However, thereafter, the representative of Khanh Hoa struggled in rejuvenating the team. They did not perform well in last year’s championship and was out of top six. That is also the reason why they have to compete in the elimination round of this year’s tournament.
Joining the elimination round with Sanna Khanh Hoa are Kim Toan Da Nang, Sanest Tourist Khanh Hoa, Thai Son Bac, Vietfootball, Da Nang, and Quang Nam. As said by coach Dang Dinh Khang, Sanna Khanh Hoa experienced many issues to rejuvenate the team in the last two seasons. However, the preparation for this year’s championship has been done well. In order to prepare for the championship, helping the young players to gain experience, Sanna Khanh Hoa played friendly matches with some good private teams in the province. The team also planed to have some more training matches in Ho Chi Minh City prior to the tournament.
