The National Muay Thai Competition 2019 is organized at the sport hall of Nha Trang University from May 18 to 23.
More than 200 muay Thai players of 32 units, provinces and cities over Vietnam take part in the tournament. Apart from the strong teams from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Khanh Hoa, this year’s tournament sees the first participation of the teams from the provinces of Lang Son, Ha Giang, Ha Tinh, etc.

The players compete in women’s 8 weight categories (from 48 to 71 kg) and men’s 11 weight categories (from 48 to 86 kg).
Through the tournament, the organization committee will select new athletes for the national muay Thai team.
