The return leg of the National Futsal Championship – HDBank 2019 will kick off at Lanh Binh Thang Sports Competition Hall (Ho Chi Minh City) on August 29. Savinest Khanh Hoa (S.KH) and Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa (ST.KH), the two representatives of Khanh Hoa’s futsal, have finished preparations and are ready for the upcoming competitions.
S.KH and ST.KH finished the first round of this year’s national championship in fifth and third place respectively. Fifth place can be regarded as a quite good result of S.KH since the team’s line-up this year is not as good as theirs in the previous years. S.KH has made some changes to their line-up, bringing new blood in order to gradually rejuvenate the team. The senior players such as Thanh Dat, Khac Chi, Nguyen Nho, and Van Thanh have still been the crucial players of S.KH; however, they have not always been at their best. Meanwhile, the young players may have better agility and strength than the senior ones, but they still need time to gain experience and improve competence. This could be the reason why S.KH played well in the first matches, but struggled and faltered afterwards.
In order to improve their position, S.KH travelled to Ho Chi Minh City to play friendly matches with ST.KH, SAHAKO, Cao Bang, Quang, Nam, Tan Hiep Hung, and Saigon in over one month. These friendlies partly helped the young players of S.KH such as Thai An, Tan Phat, Hoang Phuc, etc. to earn experience and increase their skills.
ST.KH is continuing their 2018 season success. They proved that they have still been a favorite for the 2019 championship. After nine matches of the first leg, ST.KH has got 16 points with five wins, one draw, and three losses, three points behind the first-placed team (SAHAKO) and two points fewer than the second-placed team (Thai Son Nam). ST.KH did not have a first leg good start in comparison with their compatriot team S.KH. They lost three consecutive matches. However, their players regained good form, helping the team to win six consecutive matches to climb to third place.
After the first leg of the National Futsal Championship 2019, ST.KH participated in the 2019 AFF Futsal Club Championship and took second place. The experience from his tournament is expected to help ST.KH to play well in the upcoming second leg of the National Futsal Championship – HDBank 2019.
The two teams of Khanh Hoa will meet each other in the opening match of the return leg on August 29.
