The 2019 edition of the National Junior Volleyball Club Tournament takes place in Ben Tre Province from August 18 to 31. This is a quality volleyball tournament for young players in Vietnam. 20 male and female teams participating in this year’s tournament include Sanest Khanh Hoa, Border, Ho Chi Minh City, Trang An Ninh Binh, Long An, Ha Tinh, The Cong, Binh Duong Building Materials, etc. (men’s event), VTV Binh Dien Long An, Vinh Long Television, VietinBank, Kingphar Quang Ninh, and Thong Tin Lien Viet PostBank, and so on (women’s event).
Sanest Khanh Hoa is in group B with Border, Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, and Ha Tinh. Ho Chi Minh City and Border have often been the strong teams in men’s event at the domestic tournament. They are also regarded as the favorites for the championship at this year’s National Junior Volleyball Club Tournament.

Khanh Hoa’s representative played rather confidently in their first two matches. They won 3-1 against Ha Tinh and then 3-0 against Long An. This result earned them a spot in the next round, regardless of the results of their next matches against Border and Ho Chi Minh City.
Reportedly, most of the players of Sanest Khanh Hoa joining the 2019 National Junior Volleyball Club Tournament are the young players born in 2003 or 2004. They have not gained much experience. This tournament is one of good opportunities for them to learn skills and experience from strong players over the country. Middle blockers Nguyen Quang Thang and Nguyen Duy Hung have been the two outstanding players in the line-up of Sanest Khanh Hoa in this tournament so far.
In recent years, Khanh Hoa’s junior volleyball teams have achieved quite many medals at the domestic tournament. Many players of Khanh Hoa have been playing for the national volleyball team, namely Le Quang Doan, Nguyen Quoc Doan, Tran Trien Chieu, and Nguyen Van Phong. This indicates that Khanh Hoa’s volleyball has maintained a good development and position among volleyball teams in Vietnam.
