Meanwhile, Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa notched their fourth consecutive wins, which helped the team from Khanh Hoa to move closer to the teams above them. The results of this round also made the competition for the championship to be tenser.
The biggest surprise of the 15th round was the draws of the two current top teams of the championship, Thai Son Nam and Sahako. Thai Son Nam could not continue their streak of consecutive wins in the match with Da Nang, who is the newcomer in the 2019 championship. The draw was thanks to the excellent saves of Tran Viet Ly, who stopped Thai Son Nam strikers from scoring and kept the clean sheet. In the first leg, Thai Son Nan surprisingly lost 1-2 to Da Nang.

The second-placed team in the current rankings Sahako was drawn 2-2 by another team from Khanh Hoa namely Sanvinest Sanna Khanh Hoa (S.SKH), who used to suffer the heavy 2-8 loss to Sahako. This draw could be regarded as a success of S.SKH; however, it made Sahako to face the risk of being surpassed by Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa on the rankings.
In the 15th round, Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa played against Tan Hiep Hung and delivered a 5-1 win over their opponent. The win not only saw Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa to hold firmly their third place but also widen the door to the championship. At present, they are having 31 points, three points less than Thai Son Nam and two points behind Sahako. They will meet Cao Bang in the 16th round and Kardiachain Saigon in the 17th round, who are not relatively tough opponents.
Thai Son Nam and Sahako will play each other in the 16th round. The result of this match is expected to make a remarkable change to the race for the championship. If Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa wins against Cao Bang in their next match, they will probably take the place of Sahako to become a strong candidate for the championship.
