Many key players of Vietnam’s national team played this match, namely Van Hau, Quang Hai, Tien Linh, and Hung Dung. Vietnam U22 almost took control of the match. They had their first goal just three minutes into the match thanks to Tien Linh. Linh made his hat-trick with two goals in the 17th and 57th minutes; Hung Dung scored at 54 minutes.
