The second round of the 2019 national volleyball championship starts on December 25 and ends on December 29. The teams of group A play in Long An Province, while the group B teams compete in Bac Lieu Province. Sanest Khanh Hoa play in group group A, which includes ten male teams (Binh Duong Construction Materials, Border, Long An, Long An Lottery, Sanest Khanh Hoa) and female teams (VTV Binh Dien Long An, Kingphar Quang Ninh, Kinh Bac Bac Ninh, Tien Nong Thanh Hoa, Mikado Thai Binh). In men’s event, Sanest Khanh Hoa is currently sitting first with four wins, followed by Binh Duong Construction Materials (three wins, one loss), Border (two wins, two losses), and Long An and Vinh Long Lottery.

Group A’s current second place Binh Duong Construction Materials and fourth place Long An are the second- and fourth-placed teams of group B in the first round respectively.
According to coach Thai Quang Lai of Sanest Khanh Hoa, the team plays the second round with the same players at the first round, namely opposite Tu Thanh Thuan, outside hitters Trien Chieu, Duong Van Tien and Van Phong, setters Xuan Tan and Duc Thien, middle blocker Dinh Nhu, and libero Huynh Trung Truc. Sanest Khanh Hoa is going to play four matches from December 15 to 18. This high-density competition schedule can lead to a lack of recovery time.
