In this stage, cyclist Tong Thanh Tuyen of Military Zone 7 crossed the finishing line first after over five hours, riding at an average cycling speed of 38/km/h. Cyclists Nguyen Van Duong (Hanoi) and Xa Van Thang (Dong Nai Province) finished second and third respectively.
The 32nd edition of the National Cycling Tournament – HTV Cup started in Nghe An Province on May 19 and finishes in Ho Chi Minh City on June 7, including 18 stages covering 2,183km. It is joined by 84 cyclists of 12 teams in Vietnam. The tournament’s total prize value is more than VND2 billion.
