There have been more than five movement football contests held by the provincial sports sector, localities and businesses in Khanh Hoa since early July. These contests have partly created an active picture of Khanh Hoa’s football movement. The most interesting and awaited recent movement football contest of Khanh Hoa was the U13 football tournament taking place at 19-8 Nha Trang Stadium from 15 to 19 July. This was the second movement football tournament for U13 players organized by the provincial sports sector. It provided an opportunity for the young players to confidently show their talents and passion for football and helped them to have a joyful activity with friends in summer.

Like last year, this year’s U13 football tournament had 8 participating teams from public football centers and localities over the province, namely Nha Trang (2019 runners-up), Ninh Hoa (2019 champion), Van Ninh, Dien Khanh, Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh, Hai Trieu Football Center Cam Ranh, and Nam Cuong Sport. After five days of exciting and attractive competitions, U13 Van Ninh became the new champion. Van Ninh players were short in stature compared to the players of the other teams. Many of them were 4th or 5th grade pupils. However, they played with good spirit of competition and the championship was a worthy reward for their efforts. “This will be driving force for us to continue to invest and promote our football movement among young players, especially in schools,” said coach Huynh Van Hao of U13 Van Ninh.
The five-a-size football tournament – Kha Vi Cup for Nha Trang youth held at My Gia mini-football artificial turf pitch from July 15 to August 16 is also an awaited football contest in Khanh Hoa recently. 16 teams take part in this tournament. The total budget for the tournament is over VND80 million sponsored by Le Huy Tu, CR7 sports shop owner and head of the organizing committee. Despite the fact that this tournament is just a movement contest, it attracts many strong teams of movement football in the province as well as professional futsal players of Sanna Khanh Hoa.
In addition to good quality, this tournament is also highly appreciated for the organization. All matches are live streamed on Facebook under the name K.Sport, attracting a lot of viewers. For example, the recent match between Nam Phuong Khanh Hoa and Thai Duong Real Estate had 3,9 thousand viewers, 43 comments, and 58 likes. This partly reflected the attention of football lovers in Khanh Hoa for this tournament.
Besides these two aforementioned tournaments, there are some other ones held in July such as Nha Trang City’s football championship, Van Ninh District’s seven-a-side football contest, Thanh Thanh Travel’s eleven-a-side friendly tournament with visitors from Dak Lak Province and Lam Dong Province.
