On July 31, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports issued a document on the postponement of province-level sports tournaments scheduled for August over the province.
The document was issued in compliance with the recent directive of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee to implement the Government Office's notice on COVID-19 prevention and control.

The postponed tournaments include: chess-Chinese chess championships (scheduled for August 5-9); taekwondo tournament for age groups (August 14-16); vovinam tournament for age groups (August 21-23); basketball club championship (August 24-29). These tournaments will be organized at an appropriate time in the future.
