The championship is played by more than 100 male and female athletes from nine localities, namely Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Thap.

The athletes compete in the events of men’s team, women’s team, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles in knockout format or table format based on the number of participants.
The championship ends on October 25.
