On January 13, Nha Trang University in association with Nha Trang Sharks NTU basketball club organized a basketball championship to welcome Lunar New Year 2021. The opening ceremony attendees included the leadership of Nha Trang University and Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, sponsors, and hundreds of students.
The tournament is joined by eight teams in the province, including Nha Trang Sharks NTU, Spartans, The Beast, NTB, Air Force Office’s College, Phan Chu Trinh, Old Man, and The Young Sharks NTU.

At the tournament, the teams play in two groups in a single round robin format to choose the best four teams for the semi-finals and final. It ends on January 17.
