Coach Vo Dinh Tan and the players of Khanh Hoa FC recently had a training session at the artificial turf field of My Gia urban area. In the new season, the team has two new players who are midfield Le Tan Tai (member of the national football team) and forward Nguyen Huu Khoi. These two players are not new to Khanh Hoa’s football. In the past, they contributed to the development of Khanh Hoa’s football for a long time. Another change of Khanh Hoa FC in the new season is the appointment of new coach assistant. Defender Nguyen Tan Dien has been appointed to a new position as an assistant coach of the team.

As said by Head Coach Vo Dinh Tan, the pandemic situation is still complicated, so how the new season will be is still unpredictable. However, Khanh Hoa FC are always ready and have high determination for each match. The team always attaches importance to the quality and cohesion among players; therefore they often pay attention to the quality of players they intend to recruit instead of number of players. In addition to the two aforementioned new players, there are some young players from other clubs who are on probation.
The 2021 season couldn’t complete due to the complicated development of COVID-19 pandemic; therefore, the results of V.League 1 and V.League 2 teams were cancelled. In the 2022 season, after the assesment made by Vietnam Football Federation, Than Quang Ninh have relegated from V.League 1 to V.League 2. Consequently, V.League 1 and V.League 2 have 13 teams each. As planned, the new season will begin in February, 2022 with double round robin format.
