The ongoing National Seven-a-Side Football Tournament – Hyundai Cup 2021 (Vietnam Super Cup), joined by 12 strong amateur teams of the northern, central and southern regions of Vietnam, is really a festival for football lovers. This is the first edition of Vietnam Super Cup (VSC-S1).
The ongoing National Seven-a-Side Football Tournament – Hyundai Cup 2021 (Vietnam Super Cup), joined by 12 strong amateur teams of the northern, central and southern regions of Vietnam, is really a festival for football lovers. This is the first edition of Vietnam Super Cup (VSC-S1).
The tournament is organized by Vietnam Football Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Football Federation, and Nha Trang University, taking place from December 25, 2021 to January 2, 2022. Seven strong teams of seven-a-side football movement over the country take part in the first edition of VDC-S1. Khanh Hoa Province has to representatives at the tournament namely Thanh Thanh FC and Nam Phuong Khanh Hoa.
The fact that many well-known players of amateur football across the country join VSC-S1 partly proves the attraction of the tournament. Especially, Nguyen Hong Son, former player of Vietnam national football team in the 1990s, who is now in charge of Real Estate Nam Duong, is also a contributing factor to the attraction of VSC-S1.

VSC-S1 is the first movement football tournament organized by a closed and professional process. The regulations of COVID-19 prevention and control have been closely implemented to ensure health and safety for the organization staff and teams. Besides, the matches take place without spectators. Instead, football lovers can watch the tournament on FPT channels and fanpage of Vietfootball.
The teams are competing for eight spots in the quarter-finals. After two matches on December 25 and 26, Hiep Hoa Group (6 points), Thanh Thanh (four points), and Tourism (6 points) are leading their groups. Hiep Hoa Group and Tourism have been definitely qualified for the semi-finals. The remaining six spots will be decided after the competitions on December 28.
As for the two representatives of Khanh Hoa’s football, Thanh Thanh only need a draw in the match with Real Estate Nam Duong to consolidate their top place in Group. Meanwhile, in Group A, Nam Phuong Khanh Hoa have only had 1 point after two match. They have to win the last match against Anh Phap to keep their hope of advancing to the next round alive.
After match day on December 28, the teams will have one day off to prepare for the semi-finals scheduled for December 30.
