With 51 exciting and dramatic matches, VBA 3x3 Prime 2023 contributed to the exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 370th anniversary of Khanh Hoa's construction and development (1653-2023) and the 48th anniversary of the province's Liberation Day (April 2, 1975 - April 2, 2023). The tournament was expected to promote the development of the local basketball movement. VBA 3x3 Prime 2023 stage 2 in Nha Trang brought together 18 strong men’s and women’s basketball teams of Vietnam and the region. Specifically, the men's event included Vietnam’s professional teams such as Saigon Heat, Thang Long Warriors, and CanTho Catfish and foreign teams namely Ares BKK (Thailand), Rising Star (Malaysia), etc. The women's event had Rohto Saigon Heat, Can Tho Catfish, Hanoi, Lanh Binh Thang, Sniper (Thailand), Discovery (Philippines), etc. This could be said to be an exciting playground for basketball lovers.
The tournament was held outdoors, creating a favorable condition for many people to see the matches and cheer for the teams. Especially, hundreds of people came to see and cheer for the men’s final and women’s final on the last day of the tournament. The women's final between Rohto Saigon Heat and Discovery was exciting from the first minutes with nail-biting performances. It was the excellence of foreign player Marena Whittle in the last minutes that helped Saigon Heat overcome the team from Philippines to claim the championship. Marena Whittle was voted the best attacking player of the tournament. In men's event, Thang Long Warriors defeated Saigon Heat with a score of 21-15 in the final and won the championship of stage 2.

The tournament attracted the attention of a large number of local people, tourists in and outside the country. The matches were also live broadcast on TV channels and advertised and reported on social media and newspapers. This helped to promote the images of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa.
