The 2023 championship takes place from March 19 to April 4 and is joined by 8 teams: Thai Son Nam, Thai Son Bac, Sahako, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa, Hanoi, GFDI Song Han, Tan Hiep Hung, and Cao Bang.

This year’s championship will apply the format of home ground and away ground instead of one place like the previous seasons. According to Tran Duy Hieu, a professional of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa, this new format is necessary for the participating teams. Playing at home ground not only helps the teams have more spiritual strength from support of home supporters but also helps to promote brands and attract sponsors.
This season, the sponsor Sanvinest Khanh Hoa continues to support the team. Some young players from Dak Lak Province have been added to the line-up of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa. This year, the former captain and the soul of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa’s play, Mai Thanh Dat, has been appointed to instruct the team together with coach Quoc Dan after his retirement. Phan Khac Chi is the new captain of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa. The appearance of former key player Mai Thanh Dat in technical area has given young players of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa more excitement and spiritual strength.
Prior the championship, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa played 2 friendly matches with GFDI Song Han, winning one and losing one. The leadership of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa are working with related units on procedural issues to select the home ground for the team, which is suitable for the practice and competitions of the players as well as the convenience of the supporters.
In their first match on March 19, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa will play GFDI Song Han.
