HDBank National Futsal Championship 2023: Sanvinest Khanh Hoa get 3 points in round 5

Captain Phan Khac Chi of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa scored a hat-trick in their 4-1 win in round 5 of HDBank National Futsal Championship 2023 on April 8. The win helped improve the position of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa on the table.

Before the match, the hosts Sanvinest Khanh Hoa had been rated higher than the visitors Cao Bang. The players of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa are displaying a good spirit of competition and diverse and effective play. They have had a smooth start with some wins and draws and the third place on the table. Meanwhile, Cao Bang are having difficulties due to the uneven quality of the players although they have former coach of the national futsal team Pham Minh Giang, who joined Cao Bang at the beginning of the season. Cao Bang pressed for a leveler in the second half, but their attacks met the solid defense of the hosts. Khac Chi doubled the lead for Sanvinest Khanh Hoa. The hosts scored 2 more goals through Minh Tuan and Khac Chi before Cao Bang cut down the score to 4-1.

After this round 5 match, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa get 10 points (3 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss) and are sitting third on the table. This win also helps Sanvinest Khanh Hoa get closer to the first-placed Thai Son Nam (11 points) and be on the same number of points as second-placed Sahako but with a less good goal difference. In round 6, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa have another home match, receiving Thai Son Nam on April 12. This match is expected to be very exciting because both Sanvinest Khanh Hoa and Thai Son Nam do not want to leave empty-handed.
