Sanest Khanh Hoa advance to semi-finals of National Volleyball Championship 2023 final round

The final round of the National Volleyball Championship – Duc Giang Chemical 2023 kicked off at Khanh Hoa Provincial Sports Arena on November 16 night. The hosts Sanest Khanh Hoa defeated Da Nang 3-0 in the quarter-final game taking place after the opening ceremony and advanced to the semi-finals.

The men’s event of the final round of the National Volleyball Championship – Duc Giang Chemical 2023 taking place in Nha Trang from November 16 to 19 includes 8 teams namely Sanest Khanh Hoa, Bien Phong, The Cong Tan Cang, Hanoi, Da Nang, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh LP Banks, and Lavie Long An. Sanest Khanh Hoa and Bien Phong are regarded as the two favorites for the trophy. Both teams won all 8 games in the previous rounds and topped Group C and D respectively.

The second quarter-final game between Sanest Khanh Hoa and Da Nang took place after the opening ceremony with the enthusiastic cheer from the host supporters. Sanest Khanh Hoa players played well and finally overcame Da Nang with the scores of 27-25, 2512 and 25-18. With this result, Sanest Khanh Hoa have advanced to the semi-finals and will meet the winner of the fourth quarter-final game between Ha Tinh and Ninh Binh LP Banks, who play on November 17 night.

In the first quarter-final game, Bien Phong with a quality line-up and good form won 3-1 against Lavie Long An with the scores of 25-21, 26-28, 25-16, and 25-18. Ngoc Thuan of Bien Phong contributed much in the win of his team. Lavie Long An had a good game against a stronger Bien Phong, especially in the second set in which they won 28-26. The opponent of Bien Phong in the semi-final game will be decided after the third quarter-final game between The Cong Tan Cang and Hanoi at 5pm on November 17.
