16 teams join final round of national football championship for male students in Nha Trang

The final round of the national football championship for male students – SV Cup 2023 kicked off recently at the football field of Nha Trang University, Nha Trang City. Present at the opening ceremony were Dinh Van Thieu, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Physical Education - Ministry of Education and Training, Nha Trang University, and the sponsors. 

16 excellent teams representing the regions in Vietnam compete in the final round, including Thai Nguyen University of Sciences, Tra Vinh University, Can Tho University, Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports, Hanoi National University of Education, Thuy Loi University, FPT University, Hue University, Hai Phong University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports, Nong Lam University, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Van Hien University, Saigon Technology University, Nha Trang University. 

16 teams are split into 4 groups and play in a round robin format to decide the two teams with highest points of each group for the quarter-final round.

The tournament is jointly organized by the Department of Physical Education - Ministry of Education and Training and Nha Trang University. It ends on December 27.
